Have you lost your wedding ring? If so, you might want to check with the North Vancouver RCMP.

A 14-karat yellow gold wedding ring with several diamonds was turned in to police May 14. So far, nobody has come forward to claim it, said Corp. Richard De Jong, spokesman for the department.

De Jong said the ring was found in the Chevron gas station lot in the 600-block of West Third Street. It's possible the ring fell off while somebody was pumping gas, he added.

The ring hasn't been reported missing and isn't linked to any known thefts. There is an engraving on the inside of the ring that would be known to the rightful owner, De Jong added. "We will gladly return it to them."

If you can positively identify the ring, contact Const. Isabelle Gingras of the North Vancouver RCMP at 604-985-1311.
