Vancouver Canucks fans keep celebration going at Surrey, Delta border (PHOTOS)

It has became to the go-to spot for Canuck fans to gather and celebrate, but there was no reason to gather there the last few years

All right, the Vancouver Canucks haven't won their opening round of the NHL playoffs yet, but the team's thrilling game four victory on Sunday afternoon had exuberant fans flooding the go-to celebration spot at the Surrey, Delta border.

The honking of car horns began immediately and flag waving fans gathered at the intersection of 72 Avenue and Scott Road to celebrate the overtime win.

The police presence was visibly higher than the first couple of unsanctioned celebrations in the area.

Delta Police and Surrey RCMP recently announced they are teaming up to enhance police patrols and enforcement during the Vancouver Canucks playoff season.

The police agencies announced that, to maintain public and road safety, both police jurisdictions will monitor the intersection during the playoff games.
