Power was out for about an hour Monday afternoon at Capilano Mall and for over 900 customers in the surrounding area of Norgate after trees came down across power lines in the area.
Power was cut after one of the trees being removed by a City of North Vancouver subcontractor as part of the Lower MacKay Creek enhancement project hit the power lines.
The outage included Norgate Elementary School, but school remained in session.
Electricity was restored at about 2:30 p.m.
