The BC Centre of Disease Control (BCCDC) has updated their list of public COVID-19 exposures with three new flights having travelled through Vancouver.

Alerts were issued for both domestic and international flights.

The added flights are:

  • Sept. 30: WestJet flight 725, from Toronto to Vancouver (affected rows 8-14)
  • Oct. 4: WestJet flight 725, from Toronto to Vancouver (affected rows 23-29)
  • Oct. 7: Air India flight 1143, from Delhi to Vancouver (affected rows not reported)

According to the BCCDC, people seated in the affected rows should be considered at a higher risk of exposure to the virus. However, the agency recommends anyone who was on the flight to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days.

People arriving in Canada from outside of the country are required to self-isolate and monitor for symptoms for 14 days under the federal Quarantine Act.

The full list of flight exposures can be found on the BCCDC’s website.
