Film DREAMS REWIND Tonight at 8:45 p.m.

Film DREAMS REWIND Tonight at 8:45 p.m. Pacific Cinémathèque screens the Vancouver premiere of Dreams Rewired, a documentary essay from directors Manu Luksch, Martin Reinhart and Thomas Tode that traces our connected world through the telegraph, telephone, cinema, television, mainframe computer and social media. Made up of clips from some 200 films dating from the 1880s to the 1930s - slapstick comedies, documentaries, avant-garde works, animated instructional films, propaganda newsreels - the new documentary constructs a rich "genealogy of connectivity." Visit thecinematheque.ca/dreams-rewired for a complete schedule of showtimes.
