The North Shores downtown went dark for a little over an hour Wednesday afternoon when a windstorm brought town power lines on St. Andrews Avenue.
The outage took out power to 3,454 properties between Keith Road and the Trans Canada Highway, just before 3 p.m.
B.C. Hydro crews had the outage, which was affecting properties as far west as Forbes Avenue, mostly repaired by 4:30 p.m.
