Members of the Soroptimist International of North and West Vancouver held their annual awards dinner at Hollyburn Country Club April 9. More than 60 guests were in attendance and awards were given out honouring women in a variety of categories, including youth volunteerism and community service, as well as to support head-of household women improve their economic status through education. New club members were also inducted into the volunteer organization for business and professional women working to improve the lives of women and girls. soroptimistnvwv.org
