The Sky Wheel on the Pier glows in a time lapse photo taken on Friday night. The 65-foot-tall ferris wheel will be in operation Saturday, Dec. 2 until 10 p.m. as part of the Shipyards Christmas Festival that starts at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 and includes the WInter Artisan Market and the lighting of the Christmas tree at Shipbuilders Square. The Sky Wheel will be in operation on Sunday, Dec. 3 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. by donation.
