Scooter driver suffers minor injuries following collision in North Van

A collision between a scooter driver and a car in North Vancouver resulted in minor injuries Wednesday afternoon.

A 19-year-old woman was driving her scooter east on Marine Drive near Lloyd Avenue around 5 p.m. when the car in front of her stopped abruptly, causing the scooter driver to hit the rear of the vehicle, said Sgt. Peter DeVries, spokesman for the North Vancouver RCMP.

The scooter driver suffered minor leg injuries.
