A major Canadian retailer is recalling a brand of indoor Christmas lights, after it discovered they present an electric shock hazard.

Bed Bath and Beyond - which has 11 stores in B.C. including Richmond, Vancouver, Burnaby, North Vancouver and Coquitlam – is calling back its H for Happy 50-count LED Basic Christmas String Lights in White.

What should you do?

Health Canada is warning consumers to immediately stop using the recalled lights and return them to any Bed Bath & Beyond location for a refund.

What model is affected?

The affected products have a total length of 12.8ft (3.9 meters). The UPC code on the box is 4 44250 05413 8. The model number displayed on the box is WH22-57432-LIT.
