THE Special Olympics B.C. Active Start and FUNdamentals programs recently got underway for the season at West Vancouver Community Centre. Both family-centred activity programs, they're designed to teach children with intellectual disabilities basic motor and sport skills so they're able to transition into Special Olympics sport programs offered for older children and adults.
