Both ocean and mountain activities are attractions for locals and visitors.
So is Vancouver an ocean city or a mountain city, on balance? That was a question posed to V.I.A. readers recently.
The ocean side was the winner, but the mountains definitely had supporters, with essentially a 60-40 split in the vote. Both readers in the city and in general online seemed to agree.
