CANADIAN paint brand Sico recently donated 100 gallons of paint to the North Vancouver school district.

A press release noted the donation was made in honour of the company's 75th anniversary.

The release noted Sico donated 750 gallons of paint to bring to life the walls of gymnasiums, lunchrooms, hallways and auditoriums at 75 elementary and high schools across the country.

Sico paint was established during the Great Depression in 1937 as a two-person venture in Quebec, and now has retailers across the country.
