Summer fun program leader: North Vancouver Museum & Archives is looking for two volunteers to help present fun, historical and hands-on activities to children ages five to 12. Tasks will involve delivering instructions to children on how to make crafts or how to play activities such as a relay race. The program leader will also be responsible for being able to describe and explain heritage displays including photographs and artifacts.

Ticket taker: The Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden is looking for volunteer tickettakers for summer shows. In addition, the volunteers will help with set-up and cleanup after the performances.

Day camp assistant: A volunteer is needed to help day camp leaders with the supervision of participants. Other duties include assisting with preparation, set up and clean up of materials, interacting with children and ensuring they have a great day camp experience.

Brigade volunteer: St. John Ambulance is looking for a volunteer to be at various public events (for example: Coho Festival, wheel chair events, etc.) to assist the public through the Mobile First Aid Post. This position will be available in September.

Day camp volunteers: Enthusiastic and creative volunteers with a desire to gain valuable experience working with children in a dynamic environment are encouraged to join this summer. Duties include helping organize, plan, and provide programs such as theme days, canoeing, horseback riding, arts and crafts and swimming.

Poster distributors are needed to distribute flyers and posters of upcoming events to public places, libraries, recreation centres and other theatres.
