Board Member: The Board of Directors of North Shore Community Resources Society, a local non-profit multi-service agency serving infants through seniors, has openings for a treasurer and members-at-large. It is a policy board with 15 members who are encouraged to share their expertise through committee work. The board meets six times yearly.

Walking Club Volunteer: The Heart and Stroke Foundation is looking for volunteers to lead a group of walkers to promote physical activity. Position is available two-three times a week in the morning at Park Royal mall.

Administrative Volunteers for Helpline: AIDS Vancouver is looking for two volunteers who will complete a variety of administrative tasks that support the goals of the Helpline program. Check the website for further details and the application form: aidsvancouver.org.

Program Mentor: As a program mentor, you will introduce key business concepts to students in grades five-seven. You will provide students with hands-on experience in different areas of small business. Topics include: organization, management, production and marketing. One-to-One Visitor: Have a visit with a senior in an intermediate care facility. Go for a walk, drive or shopping or just read to them for an hour. You will be matched with one specific person to allow you to build a worthwhile relationship.
