KIMBERLY Mara, a professional photographer from North Vancouver, was among the B.C. photographers honoured in the Annual Provincial Image Competition.
Presented by the Professional Photographers of Canada - B.C., the awards were given out at a banquet held in Sun Peaks last month.
According to a press release, Mara received honourable mention in the Figure Study class for her photograph, entitled Child Support. Mara, of Eclipse Photography (eclipsephotography.ca), had two images accepted and exhibited in the Provincial Image Salon.
The association, which represents more than 240 photographers, works to promote and foster the personal ethics and professional development of the working photographer. Info: ppoc-bc.ca.
