North Shore basketball fans looking to pump up their viewing pleasure for the NBA finals will be able to watch the games on the big screen at North Vancouver’s Cineplex Odeon Park & Tilford Cinemas.
The Park & Tilford theatre is one of 33 locations that will be showing the first ever appearance for a Canadian team in the NBA finals thanks to a partnership between Cineplex and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, owners of the Toronto Raptors.
The Raptors are taking on the Golden State Warriors – champions in three of the past four seasons – in the finals starting at 6 p.m. Pacific time Thursday, May 30.
Tickets to the first four games of the series will be available in-person at the theatre’s box office starting today, May 29, at 6 p.m local time. All Raptors viewing parties are free and limited to two tickets per person, per game.
