A North Vancouver man is in hospital recovering from non-life-threatening injuries after being stabbed overnight.
The victim was walking in an industrial area of the Lynnmour South neighbourhood around 2 a.m. Wednesday when, he alleges to police, two unknown white males assaulted him from behind, resulting in a knife wound to his lower back.
The suspects fled and the 40-year-old man walked to a nearby tow-yard and asked staff to call 9-1-1. North Vancouver RCMP members along with their dog section team members patrolled the area yet found no suspects, whom police describe simply as blond and brown-haired men.
Anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area overnight is asked to contact North Vancouver RCMP.
