Police are warning North Vancouver drivers to expect disruptions Sunday when activists and community members take to the streets to speak out against abuse.
The seventh annual Sexual Abuse and Domestic Violence Prevention Rally, which aims both to draw attention to the issue and show support for victims, will get underway at 10 a.m. when participants meet at 424 West Esplanade.
The march will move west from there to Forbes Avenue, north to West Third Street and west to Capilano Road. The event will wrap up at about noon on the soccer field at Xwemelch'stn Park. Police will be on hand to direct traffic.
