While street dance will be the style, Vancouver will be hosting Red Bull's Dance Your Style national finals indoors this week.
The Dance Your Style competition is a freestyle dance competition, encouraging competitors to take cues from the crowd, who are ultimately the judges. The culmination of a series of competitions in Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto, the finale will be at the Commodore Ballroom.
"Dancers from across the country will bring their unique flavour, footwork, and freestyle to the stage—with the crowd deciding who comes out on top," reads the competition's site.
While the previous competitions have been open, the national finale will see the top four dancers from each previous event face off in 1-vs-1 battles.
"With no set music and no panel of judges, dancers must adapt and impress the audience—who decides the winner of each round," reads the site.
The winner will get to represent Canada at the world final in L.A. later this year.
