A West Vancouver concession stand got swept up in excitement when Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon stopped by for a visit on Wednesday afternoon.
Damon popped into the Dundarave Beach Tea Hut at the foot of 23rd Street with his wife and about eight kids whom he bought ice cream for, according to owner Raymond Poirer.
Staff at the Tea Hut went a little crazy at the sighting.
They came to close to wetting their pants almost. They were very star-struck, they couldnt believe it, said Poirer.
Hes really, really famous and they said hes better looking than he looks in his photos and hes extremely nice.
Damon, who is in town filming the sci-fi movie Elysium, was down to earth and had no problem posing for a quick photo, said Poirer.
