SelfCare Home Health Products Ltd. celebrated National Occupational Therapy Month by donating a wheelchair to Lions Gate Hospital at a luncheon Oct. 10.
The medical equipment provider donated a MyOn Lightweight Manual Wheelchair and MaTRx seating, in conjunction with their manufacturer Invacare Canada, according to a press release. The chair will be used by occupational therapists to help patients when an injury, illness or disability limits their ability to participate in daily tasks.
