Jingle Ball Concerts Ava Music and Art Centre will host Christmas music and carol performances at various times until Dec. 13 at Capilano Mall. Schedule: avamusic.ca. Christmas Caring Tree Guests at Park Royal can purchase a paper ornament for $5 or $10 and write a wish on it and hang it on the tree at Park Royal South. Holiday Hi-Light Festival Park & Tilford will have a display of more than 50,000 lights at the community gardens until Dec. 31 at 333 Brooksbank Ave., North Vancouver. Family Friday Nights will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. and will include live entertainment, cookie decorating, face painting and more. Santa will be on site Fridays and Saturdays from 6 to 9 p.m. until Christmas.
Christmas in Ambleside There will be carolers throughout the Ambleside Business District in West Vancouver along with free apple cider at Fresh Street Market Saturday, Dec. 14 and 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A window dressing competition will also be taking place and visitors can vote for their favourite. The community is encouraged to bring donations for the Harvest Project food drive.
