Mt. Kilimanjaro Grouse Grind for Alzheimer's: On Sunday, Sept. 30, the Alzheimer Society of B.C. will give local individuals and teams an opportunity to do seven hikes up the Grouse Grind. This is a companion fundraiser to the society's Ascent for Alzheimer's taking place in Africa at the same time. The event is intended to raise awareness and money to support families impacted by Alzheimer's and other dementias in B.C. Registration: hikemkgg.com.
