The North Vancouver RCMP released a composite image of a man who reportedly approached a local teen twice on local trails. Officers would like to speak with the man.

The North Vancouver RCMP is seeking help from the public to track down a man who reportedly approached a local teen twice in two days on local trails.

In the first incident, a 14-year-old boy reported an adult approached him on a walking trail near Blueridge Elementary on Nov. 18 and asked the boy to go with him to help find his dog. In the second incident the next afternoon, the same teen reported being approached by the same man on a walking trail near Seymour Heights Elementary.

The man is described as white, in his mid-30s,  standing five-foot-seven with a very skinny build, He has dark brown hair and hazel or brown eyes. Police are releasing a composite sketch of the unidentified male, and are seeking public assistance in identifying him in order to further their investigation.

Const. Kelly McIntyre of the North Vancouver RCMP said police don’t believe there is any heightened risk to the public but added officers would like to speak with the man.
