THE Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, B.C./ Yukon Region, invites organizations across the province to get Pink'd!
According to a written statement, the campaign invites offices, places of work, schools, clubs or groups to wear something pink and show their support for a future without breast cancer on the second annual Get Pink'd! day, set for Thursday, Oct. 27. Interested participants can sign up at www.cbcf.org/getpinkd. They'll receive Get Pink'd! buttons for each $5 donation.
Get Pink'd! day takes place on the last Thursday of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Proceeds support the foundation and breast health-related initiatives.
