THE North Vancouver Community Arts Council is seeking First Nations artists for a themed exhibition called Pushing Boundaries 2013.
The show will run Oct. 11 to Nov. 16 at CityScape Community Art Space with an opening reception on Oct. 10 from 7 to 9 p.m.
The exhibition will showcase contemporary First Nations artwork. Artists are encouraged to "push the boundaries" to create contemporary work with traditional association using non-traditional mediums or traditional mediums with a contemporary edge.
Submissions must be original works only and up to eight works may be submitted in JPEG or PDF format, on a disk or USB, or as printed photographs. Email submissions will not be accepted. The deadline for submissions is June 1 at 4 p.m.
