Sage Transition House and Shoppers Drug Mart Parkgate Village and Lynn Valley Centre have partnered in an effort to raise funds in support of women's whole health in North Vancouver. The community is encouraged to purchase and personalize a tree of life icon for display on a tree in the stores. Campaign runs to Oct. 11.

PUMPKIN FEST a weekend of old-fashioned fun that celebrates the harvest season Oct. 5 and 6 at the West Vancouver Community Centre, 2121 Marine Dr. Many familyfriendly events will be offered all weekend long. A schedule can be found at westvanpumpkinfest. ca. Funds raised benefit the West Vancouver Community Centres Society.
