MAKE Mother's Day extra special this year by supporting BC Children's Hospital while celebrating Mom.
On Saturday, May 12, and Sunday, May 13, select restaurants will be donating a portion of their sales to BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
Proceeds will go toward meeting the hospital's most urgent needs, including funding clinical care, research and education programs and the purchase of vital life-saving medical equipment.
In a press release, Linda Muller, vice-president and chief philanthropy officer at BC Children's Hospital Foundation, said the fundraiser is a fantastic way for people to treat their mothers and help B.C.'s kids at the same time. "We're thrilled that the hospitality industry is rallying to support BC Children's Hospital through this Mother's Day campaign."
On the North Shore, The Lobby - Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier is taking part in the fundraiser.
