Cap Suspension Bridge wins award

CAPILANO Suspension Bridge Park has won the marketer of the year award from the B.C. chapter of the American Marketing Association. The BCAMA chose the suspension bridge because of its multi faceted campaign to promote the park's new Cliffwalk.

The BCAMA chose the suspension bridge because of its multi faceted campaign to promote the park's new Cliffwalk.

"It is truly an honour to receive this prestigious award, and we thank the BCAMA for this recognition. Building a new multi-million dollar attraction in the tourism climate of the past several years was a bold move," said Nancy Stibbard, owner and CEO for Capilano Suspension Bridge Park.

The park's promotional campaign used online, social media, radio, sales initiatives and outdoor advertising to draw people to the Cliffwalk where people can walk along seven bridges suspended in the tops of trees.
