Silk Purse art exhibition opening
Vancouver painter and printmaker Greg Allen was celebrated at an opening reception for a current exhibition of his work at the Silk Purse Arts Centre Feb. 19. The show, entitled Looking From the Outside, features an array of original prints and paintings and will remain on display at the West Vancouver gallery until March 10. The artist will share his skill and knowledge at Block Printing 101, a block printing workshop for beginners, March 10 from 2-4 p.m. Supplies provided. Cost: $10. To register, phone 604-925-7292.
