West Vancouver police arrested a man Saturday afternoon after staff from a Park Royal jewelry store saw him trying to purchase more than $15,000 in goods with a declined

credit card. After searching the 25-year-old, officers found two suspected fraudulent credit cards.

Helong Jin is now charged with fraud over $5,000 and possession of a stolen credit card. A judge ordered that Jin be held in custody pending his next court appearance.
