A 19-year-old woman is facing criminal charges after allegedly attacking two people with a knife on Xwemelch'stn Friday.
West Vancouver police rushed to a home on Whonoak Road just before 8 a.m. after someone called to report a stabbing in progress. They found one of the alleged victims suffering from defensive wounds to the hands and the other with lesser injuries. The person with bloodied hands was taken to hospital.
Officers arrested the suspect a short time later.
North Vancouver resident Jessica Johnston is facing multiple charges relating to assault and weapons possession.
