DURING his career as a travel photographer Peter Langer has visited 156 countries. This summer he spent extensive time exploring Peru and Bolivia.
Based on those trips he is presenting In the Footsteps of the Incas as part of The Ultimate Traveller series at West Vancouver's Ferry Building over five Wednesday evenings in October and November.
The Ultimate Traveller's 2012 fall series will highlight different regions of Peru and Bolivia during each presentation: ? Impressions of Peru I: Lima, Paracas, Pisco, Nasca, Arequipa, Colca, Wednesday Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
? Impressions of Peru II: Cusco, The Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Tambopata Manu, Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m.
? Impressions of Peru III: Chan Chan, Trujillo, Sipan, Sican, Tucume, Chachapoyas, Kuelap, Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7 p.m.
? Impressions of Bolivia I: La Paz, Tiwanaku, Lake Titicaca, Oruro, Uyuni Salt Flats, Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m.
? Impressions of Bolivia II: Sucre, Potosi, Samaipata, Jesuit Missions of the Chiquitos, Wednesday, Nov. 7. 7 p.m.
