A Stephanie Nilles original, performed with Thomas Deakin on trumpet, entitled ‘Like a Stone Cast Out to Sea.’ Track was recorded this week “rough and tumble style at Shtrunk and Drumble Studio in New Orleans, Louisiana.”

Nilles, a Chicago-born jazz/punk/barrelhouse musician, performs in the Studio Theatre at Kay Meek Centre on May 3 and 4 as part of the Cabaret series. Tickets $29/$38.
