North Vancouver Celtic band records music video dedicated to North Shore seniors

Just like all musical groups trying to make a go of it during a pandemic, A Casual Arrangement – an 18-piece all-ages Celtic band based out of North Vancouver – has had to be a bit more formal when planning its performances.

The group, led by violinist and fiddle player Sheila Allan, has been playing for about 10 years.

Among the numerous community events the group was accustomed to performing in every year, they were also a well-known act that played free shows at seniors residences across the North Shore a few times a year.

For the past year, the group has been limited to practising together via Zoom due to the pandemic.

However, the group has recently finished recording and putting together a striking video dedicated to the seniors of the North Shore.

The video features the band playing together over Zoom as well as some great shots of Lynn Canyon.
