Nightmares on Wax samples Little Ann's "Deep Shadows" in a Moodymann remix. The song is a central track on the UK DJ's latest album, Shape the Future, on Warp Records. An EP of "Deep Shadows" remixes featuring Moodyman, Illa J and DJ E.A.S.E. comes out July 13.

Little Ann recorded "Deep Shadows" with Funk Brother Dave Hamilton back in the shadows of Motown in 1967 but the session wasn't released until it came out on a retrospective compilation of her work on the Helsinki, Finland label Timmion in 2009. 

Nightmares on Wax plays the Imperial Vancouver on June 6.
