Brilliant “Francouvertes” (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francouvertes) musician Vivianne Roy, of Les Hay Babies, brings her solo act, Laura Sauvage, to Vancouver tonight where she opens for Aidan Knight at the Biltmore. Sauvage’s new album, Extraordinormal, is extraordinarily accomplished from the get-go. First track “Rubberskin” sets the tone as she gets comfortable with a grittier sound.
