American novelist John Irving will talk about his new novel, In One Person, Friday, May 18 at Capilano Universitys NSCU Centre for the Performing Arts as part of the Cap Speaker Series.

One of the most acclaimed writers of our time, Irving has been nominated for a National Book Award three times winning once, in 1980, for his debut novel, The World According to Garp. He won the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Cider House Rules the film had a total of seven Academy Award nominations in 2000.

Admission price includes a copy of the new novel, available for pick up at the theatre on the evening of the talk.
