Bombino acted as Jolies guide when she visited Niger in 2006, he played with Keith Richards and Charlie Watts on a new version of Hey Negrita and for the last couple of years hes been an exile in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, as interminable Sahara Desert rebellions have scattered the traditional nomadic culture.
