A unique experience is being unearthed at Britannia Mine Museum on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.
A recent press release explains "Romancing the Stone" is a special evening event at the Britannia Mine Museum (10 minutes south of Squamish) where sweethearts can enjoy a three-course dinner with wine pairings from Two Birds Eatery (www. twobirdseatery.com) and an underground train ride, as well as all the other amenities at the museum. See the buildings, galleries and theatre in a whole new light.
For those who would like to make a night of it the museum has partnered with the Executive Suites Garibaldi Springs Hotel & Resort in Squamish with a special "Romancing the Stone" discount. There is also a transportation option from Black Bear Tours to and from Squamish for an extra cost.
Tickets are limited so interested parties should book quickly. The cost is $220 plus tax per couple.
