Lynn Valley Optometry celebrated World Sight Day Oct. 9 by holding their second annual fundraiser in support of Optometry Giving Sight, donating 100 per cent of their regular exam fees (not including MSP billings) rendered that day in support of the global fundraising initiative. Hollyburn Eye Clinic is also showing support for the initiative this month, sharing the goal of giving the gift of vision to people in areas of need. During the week of World Sight Day, Hollyburn’s Dr. Pavan Avinashi matched all patient donations, and he and his team are running a fundraising raffle and accepting donations through to the end of the month in support of their fundraising.
