Children’s author Marian Keen is joined by 2012 Olympic silver medallist in rowing Krista Guloien at West Vancouver Memorial Library for the launch of Keen’s new book Lexi and Hippocrates Find Trouble at the Olympics. Children learned about ancient and modern Olympics, listened to a reading by Keen, met Guloien and crafted their own Sochi Olympic Winter Games mascot. Keen is currently writing a series of stories about a cat named Lexi who has lived his nine lives throughout history.
