EVEN the most distant of bridal fashion followers are aware that Vera Wang is the dress designer of choice for celebs and stylish girls.
From Chelsea Clinton to Ivanka Trump and Khloe Kardashian, Wang's wedding gowns have made the most wanted list, but until last fall a local bride would have to travel to get the gown of her choice.
In September, Blush Bridal & Special Occasions in West Vancouver introduced a Vera Wang shop-in-shop. The haute couture Luxe Collection is exclusive to the Blush Bridal salon; it's the only location to carry it in western Canada, and adds the line to the other 13 it already carries.
Gowns from the Luxe Collection range between $8,000-$14,000. The salon also carries the Vera Wang Collection with prices ranging from $3,000 to $8,000.
