Former walk honourees Bob and Betty Kellogg and current walk honourees Nancy and Jim Alden raise awareness of the 2015 Investors Group Walk For Memories being held on the North Shore Sunday, Jan. 25. The Alzheimer Society of B.C. event offers a means of supporting local families who are impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and research to find a cure. This year marks the North Shore’s inaugural event and it’s being held at West Vancouver’s John Lawson Park from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Last year, the event raised more than $600,000 at various sites across the province. walkformemories.com
