Charmaine Hammond and husband Chris Alcock, along with their Chesapeake Bay retriever, Toby, departed North Vancouver Aug. 30 on their Million Acts of Kindness Tour. They plan to travel 10,000 miles across North America in an RV, visiting communities, schools and workplaces along the way to instill messages of kindness, respect and resilience.
