The three young men, ages 19-21, from Barrie, Ont., rode their bikes to the West Coast (from June to August) to raise funds and awareness for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Along the way, they stopped at Chartwell Retirement Residences, including North Vancouver’s Chartwell Churchill House Retirement Residence, shown here Aug. 13, to visit with seniors. Charles works as a maintenance aid at a Chartwell property in his hometown.
