RUSHING out the door to a baby shower Saturday afternoon, I needed a fresh daytime look and I needed it fast.
I decided to forgo my usual eyewear look and instead gave Elizabeth Arden's new Beautiful Colour Eye Shadow singles and duos a shot.
More than just a line of eye shadows, promoters of the line describe it as "multitasking," containing a host of short-and long-term anti-aging benefits. Among its ingredients are retinyl linoleate, a vitamin A derivative helping minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles, as well as antioxidants vitamins C and E.

Of the duos offered, I chose Tempting Taupe, sweeping a ballerina pink across my eyelids and blending the complementary matte taupe into my creases. I completed the look with Beautiful Colour Eye Shadow single Bone, an off-white hue, using it as a highlight along my brow bone and in the inner corners of my eyes.
I topped off the look with a light coat of mascara, a quick dab of lip colour and a dusting of translucent powder. I was out the door in minutes, ready for all the lady-and baby-themed festivities to follow.
