Health Canada is advising Canadians that a brand of hand sanitizer is being recalled because it may pose "health risks."

Newfoundland Labrador Liquid Corporation is recalling numerous lots of its Alcohol Antiseptic 80% (v/v) Topical Solution Hand Sanitizer, according to a product recall notification posted Tuesday (Feb. 8).

The affected products pose a health risk because they may contain an acetaldehyde concentration that is outside the acceptable limit.

Consumers should stop using the recalled product and contact their doctor if they have any of them or any health concerns.
