AS part of the launch of their 2013 Y2Play campaign, Grouse Mountain is giving away what they're calling a "Golden Ticket," which will give the winner full access to the resort for a year plus an array of additional perks.

According to a press release, the winner will receive things like private first tracks, a reserved parking space, an opportunity to "tram surf" aboard the Skyride plus 20 other experiences. The estimated value of the total prize is more than $10,000.

Those interested in scoring the Golden Ticket are encouraged to log on to Grouse Mountain's Facebook page and Twitter feed and answer the question, "Why do you Y2Play?"

Imagine having the outdoor playground of Grouse Mountain at your disposal for an entire year experiencing everything you could possibly dream of doing at the Peak of Vancouver, says Grouse Mountain general manager Michael Cameron, in the statement. Opportunities like this don't come around very often and this is the first time they've had a prize like this in the history of the resort, he adds.

To enter to win the Golden Ticket, submit a photo plus a 100 word or less description on Grouse Mountain's Facebook contest page. Five entrants will be selected to move onto the final round where they will have a short video illustrating "Why Do You Y2Play?" created about them. The videos will then be voted on by members of the public and a select panel of judges before a winner is declared March 28.

The top five finalists will also receive a 2013/2014 Adult Y2Play pass, which allows holders to ski or ride for the rest of this season and all of next.
